In this privacy statement:

Services mean any products, services, content, features, technologies, or functions, and all related websites, applications, and services offered to you by us.

Platform means the websites, mobile apps, mobile sites, or other online properties through which we offer our Services.

The principal controller of your data is Hostings House Solutions, LLC, a limited liability company with its office at 33 W, Hawthorne Ave, Valley Stream, 11580, NY, USA.

Registration and other account information

When you register to use our Services we may collect the following information about you:

  • if you register using your Apple account: first name, last name, and iCloud email address;
  • if you register using your Google account: first name, last name, and email address;
  • if you register using your Facebook account: we collect first name and last name as appeared on your Facebook account and Facebook IDs. In the event you have provided permission to Facebook through their in-app privacy option (which appears just before you register on our Platform), we may collect your email id depending on the permissions granted by you; and
  • if you register using your email address: email address.

Depending on the choices you make during the log-in to our application, you are required to give the following additional personal data:

  • Your name;
  • Mobile number;
  • Your location

Data we collect automatically when you use our Services

When you interact with our Platform or use our Services, we automatically collect the following information about you.

Cookies: We automatically capture some information through the use of cookies. A cookie is a small file that is placed onto your

mobile device when you visit our websites in order to enable certain features and functionality of our apps.

Web Beacons: Pages of our apps and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an e-mail and collect other related app statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain app content and verifying system and server integrity).

We do not collect personal information automatically, but we may tie this information to personal information about you that we collect from other sources or you provide to us.

Log Files: We may use log files to capture your activities on our apps as they interact with our websites. Information captured in such log files may include the types of content you view or engage with and the frequency or duration of your activities.

Our Services are not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a person under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

  1. Why do we process your personal information?

For providing access and delivering Services through our Platform

  • If you log in using your mobile number or email id, we use your first name and last name, mobile number, and/or e-mail address to identify you as a user and provide access to our Platform.
  • If you log in using your Facebook account or Google account, we use your first name and last name from your profile and the e-mail address to identify you as a user on our Platform and to provide you access to our Platform.
  • We use your location from your profile to show the nearby results.
  • We analyze your posts to make sure that no fraudulent, suspicious, or objectionable content reaches the audience.

We may amend this privacy statement from time to time. We will post changes on this page and will let you know through our Platform. If you or your guardian (as the case may be) do not agree with the changes, you may close your account by going to help and support settings and select Deactivate profile.

  1. Your rights

You may have certain legal rights regarding your personal data depending on the country you are in or how we interact with you.

  • Right to request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
  • Right to request correction of any of the data we have about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.
  • Right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. This does not affect the legality of any processing we have already carried out based on the consent given previously.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising.

Direct Marketing by the Company If you do not wish to have your personal data used by the Company to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by contacting us. If we have sent you a promotional e-mail, you may select the unsubscribe option included in all our emails to stop further communication. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a product or service purchase, product service experience, or other transactions.

Targeted Advertising If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by contacting us.

Promotional Offers From Us We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data and Special Categories of Personal Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services, and offers may be relevant for you (we call this marketing).

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or availed offers from us or if you provided us with your details when you entered a competition or registered for a promotion and, in each case, you have not opted out of receiving that marketing. You may also decide the frequency of these communications from within the app settings.

Third-Party Marketing Your personal data will not be shared with any company outside the Company. We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties will have access to send you emails and notifications for the purpose of marketing. Third-party companies will provide you with an unsubscribe option in their emails so you may choose to stop future communications to you.

Where you opt-out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product/service purchase, warranty registration, product/service experience, or other actions.

Your data is not shared with anyone. This includes the employees of Mumara as well as any third-party apps.

We may disclose your personal information:

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
  1.   Where do we store your data and for how long?

The data we collect about you may be stored and processed in secure servers in order to provide the best possible user experience. For example – for fast website or mobile application build up.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

In some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

All the information we receive about you is stored on secure servers and we have implemented technical and organizational measures that are suitable and necessary to protect your personal data. QRbuzz continually evaluates the security of its network and adequacy of its internal information security program which is designed to (a) help secure your data against accidental or unlawful loss, access or disclosure, (b) identify reasonably foreseeable risks to the security of the QRbuzz network, and (c) minimize security risks, including through risk assessment and regular testing. Please note, despite the measures we have implemented to protect your data, the transfer of data through the Internet or other open networks is never completely secure and there is a risk that your personal data may be accessed by unauthorized third parties.
